The Beneteau Barracuda is a great versatile boat that combines an excellent fishing layout with the comforts of sunning and dining options for your family.
Twin mercury 200 motors moves you quickly and smoothly through the waters of Lake Erie and the hull handles the waves and unexpected wakes. Both of the Mercury outboard motors have the extended factory warranty with 3 years remaining and they are transferable.
The rear seating area can be arranged with a table in the middle to enjoy dinner on the water or it can be lowered to make a cushioned sun bathing area. The fish box/storage box easily slides and locks into place and the bench seats easily fold for storage making many different seating arrangements. The cushioned seat on the bow is a nice place to enjoy the breeze while cruising.
The 36 volt trolling motor with 96 inch shaft has a GPS anchor to let you stay in one place when the fish are biting . Do gas prices have you down? The trolling motor batteries charge on shore power and while the motors are engaged. Use battery power to troll and steer the boat from the stern with the steering control fob.
The boat has a movable fish box that also serves as a padded bench, live well and spray shower and wash down. The pilot house configuration provides ample shade and has three sets of sliding glass doors that allow for an extended season and to be able to stay dry during unexpected downpours. It saves time as you can lock all your belongings inside and it does not require a cover.
The marine head is equipped with a hot water heater and has a sink as well as a wet bath. It is great for extended overnight trips with its comfortable sleeping berth and additional lower sleeping area. The Air Conditioning and heater keeps the sleeping area and cabin a comfortable temperature while docked. There is also the added convenience of a one burner propane stove for cooking, ample area lighting, and a Jensen sound system.
This boat is equipped with a Fish Finder/GPS with autopilot and area specific map chip. It has a motorized anchor, auto level and trim tabs. No need to crawl over the hull to enter the boat as it has an easy access door on the starboard side. The refrigerator keeps your drinks cool and your bait fresh.
Enjoy the skylight or close it off if the sun gets too hot. There is also plenty of rod storage, room for tackle, life jackets, and ample storage for wave riders, or other gear if traveling to the islands.
